Questions

How do I desensitize my dog to fireworks?

Play firework sounds so quietly your dog barely notices, always paired with the best food, and only go one step louder when your dog stays relaxed and eats normally. 5 to 10 minutes a day, over several weeks, well before the next event.

What volume should I start at?

Step 1, where you can barely hear it. If your dog shows any worry (ears back, lip licking, slower eating), go down a step. Never practice in the red zone.

Will recorded sounds cure storm fear?

Recorded sounds don't reproduce the pressure, wind and flashes of a real storm, so storm-scared dogs also need a safe den and an event-night plan. Sound practice still lowers the overall fear.

Where is my data stored?

Only in your browser on this device. Nothing is sent to us and there's no account. Use Export to keep a copy or share it with your vet or trainer.

When should I see a vet?

If your dog hurts themselves during events, panics for hours, or the fear started suddenly. Many dogs need situational medication alongside training.
